Neither time nor distance ever took its toll on the way we felt about Denise. Her smile was always as bright and warm as the first day we met.

Denise was as funny and witty as anyone who has ever crossed my path. The laughs I shared with Denise are the memories of her I will forever carry with me. Her take on any subject we happened to be babbling about could be whimsical and giggly or so sharp and biting that you had to step back and say, “Man, I wish I had thought of that.”
When next we meet, I’m sure the first thing we’ll do is laugh. It’s a sound I look forward to.
